The US President said that he is considering a proposal from his Russian counterpart to come to Moscow to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory.

US President Donald Trump during a conversation with reporters in the White House said that he was considering coming to Russia to the Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow on May 9 next year. It is reported by Reuters.

According to Trump, he is still pondering the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

“I appreciate the invitation. This happened just at the height of the political season, so I’ll see if I can do it, but I would love to go if I could, ”said the head of the White House.

A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from RBC whether Washington transmitted Trump’s reaction through official channels to Moscow, said: “No. Not yet. ”
