Three Taliban were killed and two local police soldiers were wounded in Zheray district, Kandahar province.
Jawid Faisal, Kandahar governor spokesman, says the conflict occurred after the armed opponents attacked a local police station yesterday in Nahr-E-Karez region of this district.
The police killed three opponents and confiscated their weapons and ammo, Mr. Faisal said.
According to Jawid Faisal, two local police soldiers were also wounded during this conflict and they have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Taliban have not commented anything yet.
