Flood leaves large losses in Bamiyan

Bamiyan local Officials report large losses due to recent floods.
Bamiyan governor Dr. Habiba Sarabi told Bost News Agency that dozens of villages damaged and hundreds of acres of agricultural lands, gardens and livestock have been destroyed due to the recent floods in Saighan, Kohmard and Yakawlang districts.
The floods on 21st and 22nd of June wounded two local residents and damaged the connection way between Kohmard district and “Doaab”, “Mikh Zarrin”, “Tatar” and “Bajgah” villages, she added.
Dr. Sarabi says the government and international agencies aids are required for reconstruction of several roads and streams.
According to Bamiyan governor, damages are very large and it is impossible to recover the losses without the assistance of the government.
It is worth mentioning that floods during the spring season have left large damages in several provinces.
